General rental terms and conditions

The driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving licence issued at least 2 year(s) ago. Photo ID and a bank card in the main driver's name are required at pick-up.

Any additional driver must be declared on the contract and meet the same conditions. Driving by an undeclared person voids the cover.

The booking is firm once the deposit — set at 30% of the total — has been collected. The balance is settled at pick-up. The amount quoted is the amount due: no extra fee is added at the counter, apart from charges established on return (fuel, mileage, damage).

Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the pick-up time; the deposit is then refunded in full within 5 to 10 working days to the original payment method. After that, the deposit is retained by the agency.

Any change of dates or vehicle is subject to availability and may lead to a price adjustment.

A joint photographic inspection is carried out at pick-up and on return: bodywork, interior, odometer reading and fuel level. Photographs are timestamped and retained.

Any damage not recorded at pick-up is deemed to have occurred during the rental. A copy of the report is given to the renter.

A pre-authorisation, not debited, is taken when the keys are handed over. Its amount depends on the vehicle category and appears on the vehicle's page. It is released after the return inspection, provided there is no damage, fine or unpaid charge.

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up. Otherwise, the shortfall is charged at the prevailing rate plus a service fee.

The mileage allowance appears on each vehicle's page. Beyond it, each additional kilometre is charged at 0,35 €. Vehicles with unlimited mileage incur no such charge.

The vehicle may not be used for the paid transport of people or goods, for competition, driving tuition or subletting, nor on unmade roads. It may not leave the country without the agency's prior written consent.

Fines and penalty notices issued during the rental period remain entirely the renter's responsibility and are passed on to them.

Every hour started beyond the agreed return time may be charged. A delay of more than 24 hours without informing the agency entitles it to take the steps set out in the contract.

The vehicle carries third-party insurance with driver cover. An excess remains payable by the renter in the event of damage; it can be reduced to zero with the excess waiver option taken at booking.
